During the use of a salt spray test chamber, certain problems may arise that require troubleshooting and resolution. If your salt spray test chamber encounters any of the following issues, you can apply these solutions.
-
Low Water Level
If the water level is too low, promptly check whether the water levels in the test chamber or the saturation barrel are sufficient. -
Temperature Fails to Reach the Set Value
If the temperature inside the chamber does not rise to the set value:- ① Check if the safety protection switch is set too low. If so, adjust it to the required temperature.
- ② Inspect the temperature setting of the chamber’s controller. If it is set too low, adjust it accordingly.
- ③ If neither of the above applies, the issue may lie with the heating system, controller, electromagnetic relay, or other components, which require professional repair by the manufacturer’s service team.
-
Device Fails to Start After Powering On
- First, check if the water level in the heating tank is too low. If the water level is insufficient, the device will automatically cut off power as a safety measure, preventing normal operation.
- If the issue is not due to low water level, the chamber itself may be malfunctioning.
-
Unresponsive Touch Screen
- Check if the screen has automatically locked and requires unlocking.
-
Spray Timer Malfunction
- Verify whether the set time matches the spray duration. If they are the same, adjust accordingly.
- Additionally, check if the temperature has reached the specified level. If not, the timer may not function properly and will need adjustment.
If your salt spray test chamber experiences any of the above issues, follow these troubleshooting steps. If the problem persists after troubleshooting, contact the manufacturer’s technical support for professional repair as soon as possible.
