The Structure and Components of the Rain Test Chamber

Release time:2025-04-11
The rain test chamber is mainly used to inspect and evaluate the exterior lighting and other devices' casings, as well as the sealing of parts in the automotive industry. It has also become a leading product in the environmental testing equipment industry, widely used in sectors such as electronic products and automotive components.
The reliability of its testing is ensured by its ability to directly simulate the conditions of rainfall or spray. The main structure of the rain test chamber includes the chamber door, swing pipe, water supply tank, drainage valve, nozzle, worktable, and three rooms (electrical control cabinet, working chamber, and mechanical room). The device mainly consists of three parts: the upper right, with the upper part being the working chamber, the lower part the mechanical room, and the right side the electrical control cabinet. The inner side of the chamber is made of imported SUS304B stainless steel plate, while the outer side is made of A3 steel plate with plastic spraying treatment.
Rain Test Chamber
The chamber door is equipped with an observation window, allowing a clear view of the rain test. The door is made of rubber sealing material. The swing pipe is made of stainless steel and has several nozzles, with a stepping motor used to adjust the swing speed and angle of the pipe, which can be directly set through the human-machine interface. The rotating worktable has a PVC hardboard surface (corrosion-resistant), driven by a motor and a worm gear reducer, with the speed adjustable through a frequency converter and directly settable through the human-machine interface. The nozzles are detachable special nozzles made of copper. The water supply tank is a stainless steel storage tank with a water quality filter and a drainage valve. The waterway is designed at the bottom of the chamber to quickly drain water and prevent water accumulation.
By understanding the components of the rain test chamber, one can clearly know the main functions and purposes of the device.
